Located in northern Montana, Black Coulee Farm encompasses 1,175± acres with views of Three Buttes, Little Rocky, and Bear Paw Mountains. 837 acres of cropland with the remainder used for grazing. A couple buildings remain on the old homestead site along with a grain bin. Currently, the farm is producing spring wheat and barley, while other times winter wheat or oat crops. Land is perimeter and cross fenced allowing for a few months of grazing in the fall and creating potential for extra income. Spring runoff usually fills a couple reservoirs on the property and creates some wetland areas where waterfowl tend to congregate. Recreational opportunities on the property include waterfowl, deer, antelope, and upland birds. This property also borders over 7,600 acres of BLM and about 640 acres of state land which provide additional recreational space. The nearby Milk River is a great place for fishing and about 2 hours away is Fort Peck, famous for pike, lake trout, walleye and more.
